Small Cat Enclosure

I found the idea ofcat house having a small cat enclosure for my cat a really help. When I have to go out for the day my cat hates being inside, unfortunately since I live in the inner city I can’t just let it go free. So one day I came up with the idea to build a cat enclosure. I wasn’t sure what kind to build as I didn’t really know what I wanted to do with my cat. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to leave him outside permanently or just during the day. In the end I decided to only keep him outside during the day while I was at work. So I figured that there was not really much reason for me to build a big cat enclosure as not only is my cat small but the amount of time he would spend in there is not a lot. My cat has its house inside of mine and that is where he sleeps, eats, plays, etc… normally. The thing was that my cat was bored being in the house all day and so started destroying my living room furniture and then the bedroom furniture and finally the curtains. I wasn’t really sure what to do, as there wasn’t really room inside to

 

build an adequate play area or enclosure. The large porch that I have was my final choice and it has turned out to be a good one. My cat is happy and content and so am I especially since my furniture is not totally scratched to death every time I come home. And when I come home I let him back into the house where he is able to spend time with me and I am able to supervise him. I am not sure what I will do once the winter sets in as it gets very cold around here, but that is one hurdle I will have to cross when I come to it. Plan cat enclosure
